It's hard to say why people believe crazy things. Many people in our society believe that an Apocalypse, Armageddon, or an end of time, say it soon, "soon" it. Not long ago, I had the opportunity to meet someone, who believed this. In fact, he had ensured that the Earth in the Sun wanted to fall. In fact he taken selectively dug up various scientific reports, and these all from the context to prove that his theory was correct.
His theory again, that we are all doomed to condemned were to be crispy Critters and burn into a fiery hell, such as the Earth's orbit decays and we fell into the Sun. Now, if you come across some conspiracy theorists, or something, watch late-night conspiracy theory hear this kind of coast to coast talk show on the radio, you know, that you do not care. Let me explain.
It was a very cool article I cut off from the newspaper a couple of decades ago and stored it in the pages of one of my books of Geoscience. It was released on 25 July 1988 with the title in the Washington Post; "Variations pressure tied to wobble in the Earth Poland," by Boyce Rensberger. The article explains;
"Differences in air pressure at various points on the Earth-push, the planets to & provide a 3 month to the Poland as much as 2 feet over a period of 3 weeks-wiggle." Scientists at the US Naval Observatory here reported in the journal nature. A small fluctuation within the known wobbles about 16 ft above cycles of 365-433 days happens. "Poland wobble when the axis of rotation-the line from the pole position N. by the Earth moves to the S. pole - exact positions walking over the surface."
Our Earth wobbles and as far as we can tell always has it, and it probably always will. Within the atmosphere and within this bubble buffet, as it travels around the Sun appears. Could we expect that the changes in the weather, in the ocean, or even the periodic melting ice the patterns of flow, either from our Poland increase or decrease based on - ice age/warming periods. However, not we should be worried, because this has been for hundreds of millions of years, and it is expected.
We should learn more how our scientists learn more, and how our scientific technology is robust and precise monitoring of such things. But only because we will learn more about these phenomena does not mean it is the end of the world. It means only that different cycles converge at different times and different readings give, as we have come to expect based on previous research in the geosciences. In fact, I hope you please look at all this and think about it.
