Library standards have crumbled - time to claim peace

Pump up the volume

A new generation of librarians has emerged in recent years. You have a new attitude towards noise that would shock the old librarians. The new generation wants to be socially attractive and they try to achieve this goal by creating environments where noise trumps often silent in the name of the "collaborative learning".

In these new "collaborative" settings, mobile phones go out again and again. Library staff seems surprising, to ignore, or they seem little control on the intrusive sounds provide. Sounds punctuate keyboard once quiet study areas. Loud speaking patrons pollute socialize common areas with the sounds of effusive. Cries echo in the whole former hallowed halls where introspective individuals used to find a sanctuary for deep concentration of infants.

Down with the discipline

Cars do not suggest that a library user, be quiet, and certainly, car does not suggest that a person staff stop a user of the library, say. The result, which is on both of these actions arise it, the wrath of library users and library staff. Why? Because God-given, make the right to noise is apparently under the authority of a constitutional amendment and therefore protected by laws, civil liberties to prevent injuries. At least this is library, such as the profession seems, noise in modern libraries are treated today.

Long live levity

Respected experts actively support a certain level of talk in the today's libraries, often to ignore the principle of a time-and-place for talk with the absolute, God-given ability to speak, if a person wants. In the meantime are intelligent adults who depend on traditionally of peaceful rooms, enduring sonic errors, to incapacitate the venerable intellectual tasks.

All of this is instead because librarians want to change their images of conservative Shushers, lively Concierge. Academic librarians eager paying students, the jobs of the academic staff to assure want to win and win public librarians enthusiastic citizens, the social contribution to want to implement comfort through access to the lowest common denominator. The focus is primarily on the Elimination of all negative attitude towards the silence to mention NULL positive attitude during the promotion. This is the Western world fear peace in operating the best (or worst). Powered by manic Commerce, threatens this fear to undermine intellectual depth.

Realistic means really flat

Experts claim that modern librarians are more realistic about what people will support. "Keep ' em happy", "keep ' em coming" and "keep ' em numbers", therefore the new priorities of library professionals seem to be. And oh, while we are just librarians in more keep acoustically stimulates environments, with the smooth, displayed babysitter, children and adults who prefer to act like children in community centres, social service, to bear little resemblance to traditional libraries can be, how they get attractive hourly wages. Is this development? I beg to differ.

Ernst?, you are serious?

Libraries used to respectable places, people away come from noise and contact with individual thoughts visited.

No more. This quality fade slowly away from the face of the planet atmospheres. Crashed children now free nurseries are. Students are now hip café with pseudo-intellectual insignia. Homeless shelters have now comfortable and convenient day. Low income people have now free arcades to fill their hours.

But serious study? Hahahahaha! What is that? If you take seriously, then you are not only cool. Be with him, dude! Come on, make some noise! Whoop! Whoop! It is a par Tayee!
