Apparently, scientists have discovered an asteroid, which seems to be cruise to the solar system into a near Earth orbit. The question is, was this asteroid to the Earth, part of it was part of the Moon, and that's what scientists want to know. Asteroids floating around in a Lagrange point may have and it ended up trapped, or it could have a piece of ejecta from the Earth at some point in the past. The reality is that we just do not know.
What we do know is that it exists, and we can see it. It is not that we are no threat in the next hundred thousand years of on Earth, but it pretty interesting is. There was an interesting article in SpaceDaily online with the title "discovery is new Earth companion," which was posted by the staff writers in London on 7 April 2011.
The article explains; "Astronomers of Armagh Observatory in Northern Ireland have found that a recently discovered asteroid the Earth in motion around the Sun for pursuing has at least the last 250,000 years and on the origin of our planet closely connected can."
We know that it was for other planets, asteroids, and often scientists that they have in their Lagrangian point ended, and that they most likely there landed from getting as they were thrown around the solar system had caught their guiding curves distracted by gravitational forces, which slows it down. This asteroid had a similar past in the near Earth object or can have? There is a way to find out, right?
NASA can sure go and check it out. We have sent other checkpoints on asteroids in the past. By taking a sample that asteroids could we agree to it, so that the consistency of the Earth and the Moon and see if it once was a part of us, what makes the most sense, or least scientists and astronomers speculate. If not, it could give us evidence how asteroids trajectories and orbits develop and decay in the course of time on. This could help us predict their future routes.
There is much to learn, but right now we have more questions than answers, that's okay, but more control would ask these questions. In fact, I hope you please look at all this and think about it.
